Keep qualitative claims attributed

Brands may describe a wrap as lightweight, soft or cozy. We attribute those descriptions rather than claiming our own wear test or a numerical insulation result. We do not reproduce a warmth multiplier as an independently verified fact.

Do not infer grams from a photograph

A broad wrap can be constructed differently from a small woven square. Without a stated weight or an actual measurement, we leave weight unknown and do not calculate packing mass from appearance.

Use practical constraints you can verify

Check dimensions, care and the storage space available. A preference for a lighter-looking fabric can guide questions, but it cannot guarantee comfort in a particular climate or for a particular person.

Before you decide

  • Separate composition and construction
  • Keep unstated weight unknown
  • Avoid invented thermal numbers
